PP Non-woven Geotextile Filter Fabric for Permafrost

Permafrost can only be constructed using cold-resistant modified PP non-woven geotextiles, high-weight PP non-woven geotextiles, polyester filament PET non-woven geotextiles, and ordinary short-fiber geotextiles. Ordinary short-fiber geotextiles are not resistant to freeze-thaw cycles and are prohibited in permafrost projects. Non-woven PP (polypropylene) geotextiles are made from high-quality polypropylene fibers and are formed through needle-punched non-woven technology. They are hydrophobic and cold-resistant materials. The products have high toughness, do not crack at low temperatures, are resistant to acids, alkalis, and salt alkali corrosion, and possess stable permeability, filtration, isolation, reinforcement, and erosion resistance properties. They are widely used in permafrost roadbed isolation, underground drainage, repeated freeze-thaw areas, etc.

Geotextile for permafrost feature:

◆Excellent low-temperature toughness. At -40℃, the low-temperature flexibility does not become rigid or crack. 

Repeated freezing and thawing will not cause wire breakage or layering.

Resistant to acid and alkali, freeze soil salt and alkali, and snow-melting agent corrosion. Long-term immersion  is not prone to aging or damage.

The fibers are hydrophobic, and the pores are not prone to freezing and blocking. Even at low temperatures, water can still pass through normally.

Light in weight, good flexibility, high adhesion to uneven frozen soil surfaces, and convenient for construction.

◆Securing: Use stakes or pins to prevent displacement.

◆Orientation:Place the permeable side toward the drainage source.
