Standard weight: 250gsm geotextile. The thickness is moderate, and the flexibility is balanced.
Coastal erosion geotextile will not be too thin and thus prone to being punctured by stones, nor will it be too heavy and hard.
It fits the uneven slopes and surfaces, making the construction and laying process easy.
It is convenient for bending, edge folding, and fixing at the slope foot.It can be made in 3m/4m/6m wide widths.
The riverbank long slope surfaces have fewer joints, and the probability of water leakage and sand seepage is lower.

Anti erosion 250gsm nonwoven geotextile is needle-punched permeable fabric with reliable tensile and anti-abrasion capacity. It works perfectly as coastal erosion geotextile to prevent coastal waves from washing away coastal soil and embankments. Besides river and coastal slope protection, it can be laid as geotextile for highway subgrade to separate soil and gravel, stabilize road base, avoid road settlement. With balanced thickness and cost performance, this 250gsm geotextile adapts to most anti-erosion construction projects of water conservancy, coastal engineering and road construction.

The core advantages of using 250gsm geotextile for riverbank protection:
◆Below 250g geotextile (100g/150g): During the flood season, large amounts of water are prone to damage or puncture the fabric due to the high-speed flow; the sharp edges of sand and stones are likely to wear through the fabric.
◆Above 250g geotextile (300g, 400g): The performance is excessive, and the material cost is higher. The cost of large-scale river purchase will increase.
250g falls within the golden weight range for medium and small-sized conventional rivers and ordinary river embankments. The protection is sufficient, and the overall project cost is controllable.
◆The texture is soft, and it can closely adhere to the ground as it rises and falls along the slope. It is smooth for construction on steep slopes and curves.
