High-temperature-resistant Basalt Fiber

High-temperature resistant basalt fiber is made by melting pure natural basalt ore at high temperatures and drawing it into filaments. It features stable physical and chemical properties, excellent heat resistance, wide temperature adaptability, and is non-toxic and environmentally friendly. It can withstand temperatures up to 700℃ for a long time, far surpassing ordinary glass fiber, and has outstanding heat insulation, fire resistance, anti-oxidation and anti-corrosion properties.

High temperature resistant basalt fiber application case:

A thermal power plant in China, had short-lived traditional glass fiber insulation for its 600-650℃ boiler and flue gas pipelines, which hardened and cracked in 3 months, causing heat loss and high maintenance costs.

We provided our high-temperature resistant basalt fiber insulation blankets (withstand 700℃ long-term) to wrap the boiler and pipelines, isolating high temperature and resisting flue gas corrosion.

A few months later, the materials remained intact, reducing equipment heat loss by 25% and extending the maintenance cycle to over 18 months, proving its reliability in Chinese industrial high-heat scenarios.
