Chemical resistant geomembrane impermeable liner is a class of high-polymer impermeable barrier geosynthetic materials. Its core characteristics are: when in prolonged contact with corrosive media such as acids, alkalis, salts, mineralized liquids, and sewage, it does not easily swell, dissolve, become brittle, or crack. It maintains stable impermeability and mechanical properties, preventing waste liquid leakage from contaminating soil and groundwater.

The mainstream and commonly used type is HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) geomembrane liner (the industry's most widely used chemically resistant variant). The raw material is polyethylene resin, to which carbon black, antioxidants, and stabilizers are added. It is then produced into continuous sheets through blow molding or calendering.
