PP Mesh Fiber

Polypropylene mesh fiber is also called polypropylene fiber mesh, it is a very wear-resistant fiber. Polypropylene as the main raw material, through the special process of manufacturing. Mesh structures of different sizes can be made according to requirements. Polypropylene mesh fiber is a common reinforcement material in concrete. It is mainly used to improve the performance of concrete, such as crack resistance, durability and toughness.

Feature and function:

◆Crack resistance:

Concrete polypropylene fiber mesh can effectively inhibit the micro-cracks caused by shrinkage in the hardening process of concrete and improve the cracking resistance of concrete.

◆Enhance toughness:

The addition of fiber in concrete can improve the toughness of concrete, so that it is not vulnerable to brittle damage when subjected to impact or load.

◆Impermeability:

By reducing the microcracks inside concrete, polypropylene fiber can improve the impermeability of concrete and extend its service life.

◆Freeze-thaw resistance:

The addition of fiber can enhance the durability of concrete under freeze-thaw cycle and reduce the damage caused by temperature change.

Applying instruction of polypropylene mesh fiber:

◆The choices of polypropylene pp fiber mesh length: Commonly used fiber length is 6-19 mm, short fiber for crack resistance, long fiber for toughness.

◆The amount of polypropylene mesh fiber is 0.9KG, and the amount of waterproof layer on the bridge floor is 1.8KG, and the amount of other materials is not changed. When there are special uses, the amount of polypropylene mesh fiber can be determined by testing.

◆Mixing process: crusted stones, fibers and sands are put into the mixer in succession. After stirring for two minutes, fiber will fully spread and then add cement and water and stir normally. The addition of materials also can be put into as usual, but the stirring time should be properly prolonged to more than 4 minutes make fiber completely mixed.
