During the concrete mixing process, the three-dimensional cross-linked structure of the reticular fibers gradually dissociates with the mixing direction, and the horizontal arrangement of its monofilaments undergoes dynamic reorganization due to the shear friction effect. With the continuous input of mechanical energy, the mesh fiber achieves controllable dispersion through the friction-tensile coupling effect: on the one hand, the monofilaments after the dissociation of the reticular fibers form multi-directionally distributed micro-reinforcing units in the matrix; On the other hand, the residual reticular structure fragments are reconstructed into a spatial three-dimensional support system within the plastic matrix. This multi-scale synergistic effect enables polypropylene fibers to not only suppress the propagation of microcracks through the monofilament bridging mechanism, but also enhance the overall toughness of the material by relying on the reorganized network structure. Ultimately, the hierarchical optimization of the crack resistance performance of concrete is achieved through the composite reinforcement effect of the fiber network and monofilament.
