What Is Drainage Sheet Mats
Drainage sheet mats are a new type of geotechnical composite material made by melting and weaving random fibers. Their compressive strength is generally around 100~500 Kpa, enabling them to withstand significant pressure. They can remain stable even under high load conditions and are less prone to deformation, thus ensuring the normal functioning of their drainage and isolation functions. Their unique mesh structure allows for a high opening density, featuring excellent drainage and water collection capabilities, allowing water to flow through quickly, effectively lowering the groundwater level and reducing soil content. When combined with geotextiles, the geotextile mats not only effectively retain soil particles but also maintain soil stability. The drainage sheet mat produced by our company currently range in width from 100 cm to 200 cm, with thicknesses from 5 mm to 20 mm. The thickness of the geotextile mats can be selected according to different engineering requirements. Customized products with other specifications and performance can also be made according to engineering requirements. Their main applications are as follows:
◆Drainage sheet mats can be used for anti-seepage and sand fixation, preventing soil erosion and protecting the water environment and biodiversity.
◆Drainage sheet mat can be applied to road foundations, tunnel seepage prevention and protection, etc., enhancing the durability and defense capabilities of the road surface.
◆Drainage sheet mat can be used in solid waste landfill sites, dam base surfaces, and reclamation projects in mining areas, reducing the risks of water and soil pollution and land desertification.
