Rainwater Harvesting System for Commercial Park Parking Lot

An underground rainwater tank with a total capacity of 260m³ was built beneath the parking lot using PP modular rainwater modules assembled on site. Rainwater from roofs and paved surfaces flows into the tank after pre-treatment such as filtration and first-flush diversion. The system temporarily stores stormwater during heavy rains to cut peak flow, ease the burden on municipal pipelines and prevent site flooding. Captured rainwater is reused for landscape irrigation and pavement cleaning. In green areas, permeable geotextile is applied to allow partial rainwater infiltration and groundwater recharge. Lightweight and quick to install, the modular tank meets sponge city standards and saves municipal tap water effectively.
